In December I attended an amazing 2-day workshop hosted by Dr. Eben Alexander, neurosurgeon, and New York Times bestselling author, and his colleague Karen Newell, co-founder of Sacred Acoustics. At this workshop, Dr. Alexander discussed his 2008 near death experience (NDE) that led him to authoring the NY Times bestselling book Proof of Heaven.
In his quest to re-enter his NDE state of being, Dr. Alexander began meditating. Through his research and meditation study, he met the eventual co-founder of Sacred Acoustics, Karen Newell. I had the wonderful opportunity to engage in several meditation sessions using multiple sacred acoustic recordings and can’t say enough – the quieting effect and relaxation I felt through listening to the binaural beats of these recordings was unprecedented.
Does your community offer relaxation sessions, meditation or centering prayer groups?
If so, I highly recommend using the Sacred Acoustics recordings. Learn more and view the testimonials here.
Driving home from the workshop (in Austin traffic – Deep Sigh), I began thinking about all the practical ways these recordings could be used in various senior living programs, and the ideas are kind of endless! Fortunately, there are quite a few recordings available to choose from.
